Today’s Local First Arizona member spotlight is on the Casa Grande's Farmer's Market:
Halfway between Phoenix and Tucson is the city of Casa Grande, rich with Arizona history and the Hohokam ruins. On Third and Florence Street, in the Historic Downtown District, the year- round Casa Grande's Farmer's Market bursts with fresh produce, seasonal fruits, farm eggs, grass-fed beef, tamales, hummus, mustard, soaps, oils, bratwurst, and crafts. One of our favorite things about farmer's markets is the ability to befriend and meet local businesses, farmers, and people that help foster a city's community and personality. Visit the Farmer's Market, held from 9am - 1pm every Tuesday, to savor the unique flavor of Casa Grande and discover what this colorful city has to offer.
