Day 5- CSA Shares of All Kinds
If you've never participated in a CSA program before, you're missing out. It might be the holiday season now, but when you have a
Community Supported Agriculture subscription coming to you each week, its like receiving presents on a regular basis. And there's no underestimating the value of giving back here either; typically when you commit to a CSA, you've pre-pledged your direct support to the farmer you've made the agreement with- which means you don't go hungry and neither do they.
While pricing and pick-up/drop-off arrangements can vary from farmer to farmer and as with anything, you should always ask questions particularly when concerned about the source and care of your food, we've chosen a few that are either currently active in taking their seasonal registration or that help to show the variation in types you can get here in our state.
