The Basics of What We’re Doing…
Consumers are mobile. They’re now using their phones to access all types of location-based information relating to local businesses, events, and sales happening in their immediate area. So what does this mean for you and your business?
In order to help you connect with the growing mobile consumer base, we’re now offering access to our first location-based mobile application. Through this application, you will be able to reach surrounding customers with information about your business and limited-time sales and promotions that are designed to drive foot traffic on demand.
Looking to bring in the crowd of consumers right down the street? Searching for ways to reward your regular customers? With the Local First Mobile application and back end sales/event creation system, you now have the tools to make this happen whenever and wherever you want.
1) What is this Mobile Application, Anyways?
The mobile application that we’ve created for you will allow mobile phone users in your area (roughly a 5 mile radius) to see up-to-the-minute information about sales, promotions, and events that are happening at your business. Based on the content, deals and events that you create and provide, local consumers can now view limited time lunch offers, unique sales, or information on an upcoming events all based around your business. This mobile application is your tool to bring in customers when and where you need it the most. And by informing your customers that you’re now part of the Local First mobile application, they’ll always have a reason to look up your business when they’re in your neighborhood.
2) How Will My Customers Know that I’m in the Local First Mobile App?
Because this is the first mobile application we’ve ever offered, and because your customers increasingly expect to find local information when they’re out and about, we are going to continually make an effort to promote this application in everything we do. This effort will include press releases, application updates, and full color advertisements in publications.
The other way to spread the word is to simply tell your customers! Tell them that you’re now part of a location-based application that will provide them with accessible and unique sales when they’re in your neighborhood. The more people you tell, the more people will check the application, and stop in. So go ahead, tell people you’re mobile!
3) How can I use Local First App to drive new sales?
Step One: In addition to our promotion of the new app, TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS! The more people that know to check the application to see your sales or events when they’re in your area, the more sales you will be able to drive on a continual basis. By training your customers to look for you in the mobile space, you’re effectively giving them new reasons to stop into your business on a daily basis.
Step Two: Now that your customers know you’re mobile, you’ve got to provide them with some tangible, accessible value. Once they know you’re able to provide them with mobile deals, updated on a daily (or even hourly!) basis, they will have a reason to check out your business the next time they’re passing by. And since you’ve now created excitement to check on your current sale or promotion, we encourage you to put new deals and events into the system as often as possible. The more deals you put in, the more customers will be incentivized to stop in on a daily basis.
