Inexpensive comfort foods with upscale twists

Located on Scottsdale Road just south of Indian School Road, Daily Dose is open for breakfast and lunch daily until 2pm. Soon it’ll stay open until 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. weekdays and midnight on weekends.

Chef Matt’s menu showcases inexpensive comfort foods with upscale twists. Breakfast, which is served until 2 p.m., features omelets, pancakes, waffles and wraps. Lunch offers salads and sandwiches.

On the lunch side, there’s a signature burger, The Daily Dose ($10.95), which comes with cheddar, bacon, fresh basil, shaved onion, tomato and harissa aioli on a honey oat bun. And the Old Town Stack sandwich ($11.95) with shaved prime rib, gruyere cheese, cilantro pesto and sweet onion slaw.
